Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Dear Friends,
Thank you for your prayers for my recent trip to Nigeria. It has been many years since we’ve run a school there.  God opened the door, and we started the school on 15th January 2024 in the city of Abeokuta.  16 students were in attendance. Some of the students traveled from the neighboring country of Benin Republic, as well as local pastors traveled daily to be present.  It was a great blessing! I am thankful for Pastor Shobanke, his family and church for receiving us and allowing us to use their facilities in which we accommodated and fed the students.

We also have a school presently running in Uganda in a town called Masha, which will graduate 21st February.

The following schools will be started Monday, 5th February.
City                        Country
Lome                     Togo
Sengerema         Tanzania
Bukavu                 Congo

Yours in Christ and for His Kingdom.

The purpose of the schools is to raise up a vessel of revival, which will demonstrate in word and action the living witness of Christ. To this end the schools are structured so that the students give themselves to the Word of God and prayer.

Revelation 19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

Psalms 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

Dear Friends,
We give thanks and praise to our God for a productive year of ministry.  Thank you all who have participated in prayers and support.  1 Corinthians 3:8, “Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.”

Our final schools of the year graduated on the 13th December in Mbarara, Uganda.  We had 52 graduates complete the four-week training.

This year by the grace of God, we have been able to support the running of 26 schools in Africa.  Below is the summary of the countries in which schools were run in 2023.

Thank you all for your continued prayers. We live in perilous times. God has ordained that the Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations and then the end will come!

Yours for Christ and His Kingdom.

Revelation 1:17-18
(17)  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
(18)  I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

It is a great privilege seeing how the school changes people, by the power of God’s Word in conjunction with His Life. He is challenging and strengthening many of the Church leaders who attend the schools we run.

In October, we completed and graduated the following schools:
Bukavu, Congo
Abidjan, Ivory Coast
Biharamulo, Tanzania
Mukityaza, Uganda

In the month of November, we started / will start schools in:
Senegal,
Buseresere, Tanzania
Bujumbura, Burundi
Kyera-Nyamitanga, Uganda

Thank you all for your continued prayers.  We live in perilous times. God has ordained that the gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations and then the end will come!

2 Corinthians 3:17-18
(17)  Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (18)  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus!
God has graciously enabled the forward movement of the training of the pastors across the continent of Africa.  I recently returned from a trip to Rwanda and Nigeria.

During my time in Rwanda, we were running the School of Christ training in a city called Musanze. We had 27 students gathered for the monthly training.  What a precious time it was to be with these saints as God stirred our hearts to once again rise and diligently seek the Lord. We were all challenged to be a vessel of revival in this generation.

In the final week of the school in Rwanda, I was approached in the evening by three pastors who presented me with a list of 39 ministers who were asking to go through the training.  I queried them about how they heard about us, and they replied,
We saw what happened to the former students and how their lives were changed during the April 2023 school.  We wanted the opportunity to also experience and go through the training.”
We graduated on that Friday and started the next school the following Monday with these pastors.  Thank the Lord for the open door and open hearts.

In the month of August, we finished a month-long school in Nakasongola, Uganda.

Here is a testimony from the school from our director Richard Kairu.
“Hello Brother Stephen today as we were on last lesson of pneumatology (The convictive work of the Holy Spirit). Students started crying as they repent of their sin and confessing their faults to one another, we had to pause the lessons for a time of prayer, there has been a great move of the Holy Spirit.”

Also in August, we completed a school in Bamako, Mali.

During this month of September, we have two schools running.
One is in Lome, Togo (2nd school in Togo this year), and the other in Musanze, Rwanda (3rd school in Rwanda this year).

For the month of October, we are starting schools in:

  • Bukavu, Congo
  • Abidjan, Ivory Coast
  • Tanzania
  • Mukityaza, Uganda

Matthew 24:14
(14)  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

1 Corinthians 1:21
(21)  For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

In June / July 2023, I visited the following schools that were in session, We thank God for giving us faithful directors in each of these countries to help run the training.

Please pray for wisdom as we go forth. We may be small in number, but this year has been a testament to the faithfulness of God as we have run sixteen schools so far and project to run ten more before the end of the year.  All glory to the Lord for this.

John 1:36

(36)  And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

Dear Friends,

Greetings again in the mighty name of Jesus.  We thank the Lord for His continued faithfulness and sustaining grace to continue the work in Africa.

During the month of April, we completed three schools in the following locations (town, country)

Niamey, Niger
Ndinzi, Uganda
Musanze, Rwanda

Picture above: school in Niamey, Niger

Whenever I visit the schools, my work is to ensure the schools are functioning with discipline, adherence to biblical truth, and accountability in finances.  We have directors on the ground that see to the actual daily running of the schools. I usually spend at least a week with each class during which time I see how the director is doing and the school is functioning.

The job of these directors is more than just starting the videos.  They answer questions, keep discipline in the class, and make sure the pastors / church leaders are fed and accommodated.

Most importantly, they set the example for the class. That means they are present for the prayer meetings and ensure that no heretical teaching creeps in.  They understand that the position they hold is not for the propagation of their own ideas. Not every person can be one of these directors. We carefully choose them, knowing what the Lord has placed in our trust is vitally important.

We have one school running this month of May in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso.

In the upcoming month of June, please remember the following schools in prayer.

Rwampara, Uganda
Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso
Isenye, Tanzania

Luke 5:17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

I am starting this update with a testimony from one of the students that attended the School of Christ training at the beginning of this year. I hope it will be a blessing to you and highlight “why” we run these schools.  Over the years, as we have run the school across Africa, we have seen and continue to see lives changed by the power of the Gospel. To God alone be all the praise!

“Among the senior pastors, there one of them that cried so much during the training, everybody was wondering what is happening to him and at the graduation he made us know that he was a senior pastor of a very big denomination and under him were several churches of the denomination, because of envy and jealousy, they set up some allegations against him and finally he was sacked from the denomination.
From that day he said he will never go to church again or preach the gospel again, and for ten years he never went to church him and his family.
When he hears of the training announcement on radio, he ignored the announcement but the voice keeps on telling him: go to that training I send those people for you, only for you I sent them.
He said the voice becomes very loud that he decides to go so that the voice will leave him alone, and when he comes and the lessons starts with the series of the conflict, he cried so hard that his shirts was full of tears and after that week, for the first time in ten years he gathers his family, all of them confess their sins to God, repent and go back to church and the first time in ten year he went to the market to preach the gospel and evangelize the lost.”

Last month of February, we completed two schools: one in a place called Utegi, Tanzania and the other in Lome, Togo. This month of March, we have two schools running: one in Tarime, Tanzania and Ndinzi, Uganda.

Thank you for your continued prayer and support for this work. Please remember our directors in Africa as they continue to run the schools faithfully in difficult situations and please pray also for me as I traverse the continent checking on the running of these schools.

Upcoming schools for the month of April are in Niger and Rwanda. Yours in Christ and for His Kingdom.

Psalms 43:3  O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

This month of January, we completed two schools, the first was in Rwampara, Uganda (East Africa) and the second was in the country of Ghana (West Africa)

The school in Uganda was a great joy to the hearts of the pastors. We had 46 students graduate (we started with over 60), many of them were church leaders. They were earnest, praying, digging into the Word of God, seeking Light and Truth from Almighty God.

I was able to visit for the final week and see the attentiveness to the Word and determined seeking of Gods face during prayer.  One of the students would get up at 5am each day and walk 5km (3.1miles) to participate in the school, returning home in the evening.  Some of them slept in the church during the week and went home at the weekend.

We continually have requests from across the nation of Uganda to bring the school training to them and we are thankful to be able to answer.

The schools that have already started this month of February are in Togo (West Africa) and Tarime, Tanzania (East Africa)

Dear Friends,

We trust you’re all well after the holidays. Another year passes by and the key word for me is to keep moving forward. Yesterday is gone, today and tomorrow present fresh opportunities to do the Lord’s Will and see His Kingdom established in the hearts of humanity.
