Light In The World Ministries May 2016

The purpose of the schools we run in Africa is more than enabling pastors and leaders of churches be grounded in the Word of God and prayer.  We are seeking to raise up a vessel of Spiritual recovery and revival in our day and age that will make a difference in their communities. We are believing God for a heaven sent revival.  We can, through the power of the Holy Ghost, make a difference in this generation!
A lot of exciting things have been going on in the months of April and May in Africa.  Listed below are some the schools we have helped to run.
Full time Schools Completed:
Nairobi, Kenya –  We had 13 graduates come from different places in Kenya (Embu, Bungoma, Kisumu).  To be trained in Nairobi for our April session.

Byumba, Rwanda – We had 29 graduates mostly from Byumba with a lot of local pastors attending in this rural town. We are very thankful to one of the pastors who donated the use of his church building for this school.

Mahama Refugee Camp – This camp is set up for displaced Burundians who are fleeing to Rwanda because of the conflict in the country of Burundi. It is always sad to see people moved because of violence. However, the students attending this training were not discouraged. They were firmly persuaded that through the overseeing providence of God, their steps were being established and they would be witnesses and testimonies for Christ in the midst of their adversity.
Insigiro District, Uganda – This school was deep in the bush area. Our director, Richard, suffered with malaria through the entire school. Nevertheless, out of it a testimony of life came forth from the pastors that attended this training.
Upcoming Schools in June:
Porto Novo, Benin Republic
Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso
Yaounde, Cameroon
Tanzania (location yet to be decided upon)
Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. We would appreciate your prayers for wisdom and guidance in the stewardship of this trust.
