Light in the World Ministries Update January 2026

1 Corinthians 15:55-57
(55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
(56)  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
(57)  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you all for standing with us in prayer and faithful support during 2025. It has been another great year! We rejoice in the goodness of our God and His faithfulness to His Church. 

In December of 2025, we finished the year off with two schools in the following countries: 

Nyabihu, Rwanda, 30 students (27 Pastors 3 evangelists)

Rwamwanja, Uganda 51 students (42 Senior Pastors and Bishops)

We were able to run and finance 22 full-time schools across the following countries (listed by area / country)  in 2025:

Abeokuta, Nigeria:  Gisenyi, Rwanda :  Kampala, Uganda:  Lome, Togo:  Nkwende, Tanzania:  Goma, Congo:  Mahama, Rwanda:  Maradi, Niger:  Mbarara, Uganda:

We are planning, Lord willing, to run schools in the following locations in 2026:

Light In The World Ministries December 2024

We are ending another year and rejoicing in the faithfulness of God in providing for the running of the schools in Africa
We presently have two schools that will be finished in the last week of December.
1.Thies, Senegal
2. Mbarara, Uganda
We also completed another two schools this December in Bukavu, Congo and Gisenyi, Rwanda.

  I was present with the school in Mbarara, Uganda. We were invited there by a church organization that has over five hundred branch churches. The lead Bishop invited us and provided the facilities to run the School of Christ. He testified during the class that many of his church leaders (Bishops and Pastors) had been through many other schools, some graduated with PHD’s in Theology and Ministry, but they had not brought life. He publicly shared that the SOC had affected a change of life in many of His leaders and as a result, he invited us to come back and train the rest.

Below is the list of twenty-three completed schools this year, including two introduction classes: (Equatorial Guinea and South Africa).

Light In The World Ministries November 2024

We recently graduated schools in the month of October in the following countries.

1) Ntungamo, Uganda 2) Nyamogita, Tanzania 3) Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

After many years, we were invited back to South Africa to run an introduction class. In years past we had schools in the Pretoria region, but this time we traveled to a town called George located on the coast of South Africa.  Thirty two people gathered to watch the School of Christ lessons that Bro. Clendennen recorded in 1999. it was a great time of praying and allowing the Holy Sprit to speak to our hearts through His Word.

In this little town in Western Uganda, every day for four weeks at 6:30 am, forty five students were gathered to pray and spend the day, studying the School of Christ.  At least twenty of these were church leaders that were pastoring churches in the surrounding towns.  Great was the hunger for reality! How the simplicity of prayer and the Word of God exalting Christ, kindles a fire for God in human hearts!

Light In The World Ministries September – October 2024

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. We recently graduated schools in the month of August and September in the following countries. 1) Bamako, Mali 2) Ibanda, Uganda 3) Butare, Rwanda.

For over a decade, we have been running schools in Uganda and Rwanda. I have had the privilege of traveling with our directors to some of the most remote areas, where pastors have come together to participate in the training.  After a month of study, these leaders return to their congregations revived and ready to preach the Word of God.  Two such schools were recently completed in Ibanda, Uganda and Butare, Rwanda.

This month of October we have three full-time schools running. We also have a new opportunity opened in South Africa. We will be holding an introduction class at the end of the month to see if there is enough interest to run a full school in the future. Please pray with us, as we are believing for a move of God in South Africa.

Light in the World Ministries February 2024

Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Dear Friends,
              Thank you for your prayers for my recent trip to Nigeria. It has been many years since we’ve run a school there.  God opened the door, and we started the school on 15th January 2024 in the city of Abeokuta.  16 students were in attendance. Some of the students traveled from the neighboring country of Benin Republic, as well as local pastors traveled daily to be present.  It was a great blessing! I am thankful for Pastor Shobanke, his family and church for receiving us and allowing us to use their facilities in which we accommodated and fed the students.

We also have a school presently running in Uganda in a town called Masha, which will graduate 21st February.

The following schools will be started Monday, 5th February.

The purpose of the schools is to raise up a vessel of revival, which will demonstrate in word and action the living witness of Christ. To this end the schools are structured so that the students give themselves to the Word of God and prayer.
